The faculty was founded in 1981.Annually about 400 students enterthefull-time and part-time curses of the faculty.More than 60 teachers,7professors and doctors of science, more than 50 associate professors and candidates of science, provide training.

 6 departments were created at the faculty, which organize the educational process and Toconduct research work

-machine technologies and systems of machines for the production, storage and transportation of crop and livestock products;

-technologies and means of small-scale production of agricultural machinery;

-technologies of maintenance, diagnostics and repair of machinery and equipment;

-methods and means of testing machines; machines, installations, apparatus, devices and equipment for storage and primary processing of crop and livestock products;

-technologies and technical means of processing shops and enterprises;

-efficient use and maintenance of agricultural machinery, machinery and equipment, means of electrification and automation of technological processes in the production, storage and processing of crop and livestock products;

-development of technical means for technological modernization of agricultural production;

-electrified and automated agricultural technological processes;

Technosphere Safety students study:

-human and the risks associated with human activity; environmental danger related to human activity; dangers of habitat associated with natural hazards;

-methods and means of protecting human and the environment from hazards;

-rules for the regulation of hazards and anthropogenic impact on the environment;

-methods, means of human salvation. systems for ensuring human security in the modern world;

-the formation of a comfortable environment for human life and activities;

-systems for minimizing technogenic impact on the natural environment;

-ways of preserving human life and health through the use of modern technical means, control and forecasting methods.

Power and Electrical Engineering students study:

- set of technical means, methods and methods of human activity for the production, transmission, distribution, transformation, application of electrical energy, control of energy flows, development and manufacture of elements, devices and systems that implement these processes;

ETTM students study:

- issues related to the operation, repair and maintenance of transport and transport-technological machines for various purposes (transport, lifting and transport, port, construction, road-building, agricultural, special and other machines and their complexes), their units, systems and elements ;

-development trends of systems and means of operation of transport and technological machines and complexes;

-calculation and design aspects of modernization of systems and means of operation of transport and technological machines and complexes;

-patterns and rules for the implementation of technological processes of operation, repair and maintenance of transport and technological machines, their units, systems and elements;

-the composition of the set and the rules for the preparation of technical documentation and methodological materials for the implementation of technological processes of operation, repair and maintenance of transport and technological machines;

-content of works on standardization of technical means, systems, processes, equipment and materials;

-types and scope of materials used in the operation and repair of transport machines and transport and technological complexes;

-structure and resources of the engineering and technical service of road transport;

-forms and methods of organization and management of engineering and technical service;

-methods of organizing management of the quality of operation of transport and technological machines;

-forms of basic documents in the sphere of planning and management of operational activities of operating organizations;

-methods of organizing planning and management of operational activities of operating organizations;

-economic aspects (laws) that apply to service and branded service enterprises in the market economy of the country.

 

Students are trained according to federal state educational standards. The faculty has a good material base. The classrooms are equipped with modern equipment for the educational process and scientific research. Students study not only domestic, but also imported equipment. The departments of the faculty maintain close relationship with many agricultural and industrial enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, collective farms and joint-stock companies, where students have practice. Branches of departments were opened at MU PATE-1, a combine plant, MUE "Tramway and trolleybus enterprise" in Orel, at the Research and Production Center "Integration.. On the base of these branches, students have their practice and prove diploma projects.

 

The objects of professional activity of graduates of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Energy Supply are:

machine technologies and systems of machines for the production, storage, transportation of crop and livestock products; technologies and means of maintenance, diagnostics and repair of machines; machines, devices and equipment of machine testing stations and technical service enterprises; electrified and automated agricultural technological processes, machines and installations;

-electrical equipment, power plants and automation equipment for agricultural and domestic purposes; energy-saving technologies and systems of electricity, heat, water and gas supply to agricultural and household consumers, environmentally friendly systems of sewage and disposal of animal and crop waste; normative and technical documentation;

-human reactions to negative production factors, methods and prediction of industrial hazards, industrial safety and the creation of comfortable conditions for work, methods of administrative, legal and economic regulation and management of labor safety, environmental safety and protection in emergency situations at work.

Graduates of the faculty work:

-at enterprises (workshops) of the agroindustrial profile of various forms of ownership, cooperatives, lease collectives, associations of farms, inter-household and other enterprises engaged in harvesting, storage and primary processing of crop and livestock products, machine-technological stations;

-at enterprises and organizations for maintenance, installation, commissioning, operation and repair of electrical equipment, power plants, control and measuring devices and technical means of automation for agricultural purposes;

-in institutions for the organization and management of agricultural production; consulting centers for the management and marketing of agricultural machinery, technological and electrical equipment, power plants and automation equipment;

-in machine test stations, research and design institutes, design and engineering organizations;

-organize activities for labor protection and safety in the agro-industrial complex, participate in the work of state supervision bodies, carry out developments for the reconstruction of facilities and industries, research and improve technologies, methods and means of protection against hazardous and harmful factors, increase the reliability and stability of technical facilities , develop effective measures to localize and eliminate the consequences of accidents and disasters.
